Stress "It's just stress" your physician may describe as the cause of your symptoms.  However, our society doesn't teach us what to do with this disruptive, and potentially fatal problem.  Stressors are necessary to life - to grow, to adapt and find new balance based on the challenges we face.  If the stress is excessive or prolonged, our organ systems are exhausted, leading to dis-ease.
StrainMuscles and joints handle tremendous loads.  Everything from shoveling snow, lifting heavy boxes and carrying groceries.  They endure prolonged postural loads when sitting at the computer or desk.  But if the body is overwhelmed in excessive or prolonged load, muscles and connective tissues strain, causing inflammation, guarded movement and pain
Pain is a signal sent to our awareness when something is wrong.  Injurious events are Painpicked up by our nerve endings and send to relay stations in the brain where they are interpreted for reaction.  Sometimes pain is referred from another muscle or organ some distance from the pain.  Expertise is required to resolve the cause of the pain...not just the symptoms.

Donald Quinn Dillon, RMT has treated workers with acute and repetitive strain injuries, athletes with strains and sprains, people in mid and later life with pain and immobility related to osteo-arthritis, people injured in car accidents, and many children with migraines, roto-scoliosis and other problems.  He has over 16 years of experience, and maybe he can help you too.

Our treatments are covered by extended health care plans, auto insurance benefits for rehabilitation of collision injuries, and worker's compensation (WSIB) injuries.  Many people pay out-of-pocket for the relief of stress, strain and pain they receive.  Contact us with your questions.  We'll make it better.
